Cointreau pop-up cocktail bar : I like!

Yesterday we had a cocktail at the pop-up cocktail bar "Cointreau Fizz Garden" in downtown Brussels and I loved it!   It is set in an out of the ordinary location, an old bank building (1947-1953) with beautiful architecture, which is waiting to be transformed into offices and apartments. Now the bank counters became the bar, the interior is lush and romantic,  flower artist Thierry Boutemy has put his magic touch there, a DJ is spinning cool tunes AND the cocktails were really good. I had the "cointreau fizz garden" which is a mix of lime, soda, elderflower syrup, champagne and cointreau of course. There are about 10 different cocktails (9€-12€), which all seemed tasty! So I'll have to go back ;-)  Check this out before April 21st and don't forget to enroll to get easy access. See you there!

SaTuRdAy NiGhT pArTy

Last Saturday we went to the 2nd edition of  "The Bowler Sessions", a party organized by Robin, Anne and Romain, three people who are into music and bar tending. It happens in a little basement, where a DJ is spinning lots of different cool tunes ( I clearly remember The Doors) and most important, there are very very good cocktails and a nice crowd! All cocktails are new creations, so there was a revisited cosmopolitan with raspberry liqueur, a Black Jack Margarita (my favorite!) and 3 other cocktails with southern comfort as a base.... No date yet for the next party, but check their facebookpage... Anyway here are a few pix to let you feel the vibe.... but chuuut don't tell anyone, we don't want it to get too crowded ;-)
